Fall is Here

Fall officially started a few weeks ago. It has never been a season I love because it is a reminder that summer has ended. (That's my favorite season.) But this year I am about starting a new. Pushing to have fun, not just work my main 40 hour a week job this year. If I can't live it to the fullest this year, I am setting it up to really live life to the fullest type mentality next year. I want to start anew this year. I don't just want to talk about it but I want to be about it. Be about my business. Growing personally and financially. Anyway, I'm getting off topic. So I created a fall to-do list to embrace the season.

1) Go to a corm maze.
2) Have a wine and cheese night. 
3) Create a album (wedding or high school graduation one).
4) Create more candle burning nights.
5) Have at least 2 movie nights at home.

Summer is Here

Summer is offically here as of Friday 1:04 am EST. Yeah!! This is may favorite time of the year. I love sunshine, heat and the feeling of freedom it brings. Even though I still have to work everyday, this time of year brings me joy. I do not have any big travel plans this Summer but I had lot of big events happing to other people so I am and will be busy assisting them. I had 3 cousins graduate high school and my best friend is getting married. So I'm busy. Other then that my plans are to focus on growing my business. What are your summer plans this year? When you try, try and try

Have you ever felt like you have given your all and it still isn't good enough? Well, I feel like that over the past month or so. Are you tired of working on a job that doesn't bring you joy or fulfillment? Is it better to be at a job that doesn't bring you joy and barely pays the bills or work at a job that can pay the bills but doesn't fore fill your dreams? Many of you deal with this dilemma everyday. What did you choose? What would you advise someone to choose? 

Birthday Wish

As my birthday has come and gone, I can say that I am excited about this new year for me. I haven't been excited in a while. I had a great weekend mixed with excitment, relaxing, spending time with loved ones and shopping. Topped off with key lime cupcakes. I am a happy girl! 

As a looked at what I have accomplished this year, reviewing what I still need to work on, and looking at it to make sure I am living in the moment. I don't do that too often. Not putting off what I could do today. 

My promise to myself.

I promise to find what make me happy. I will weave that into my every day life. The next day isn't promised to any of us. So I w should enjoy evey minuete of every day. 

Work on my blogg at least 2 a week.

Make strides to further my own projects. My true happiness doesn't lie in working for someone else.

President Obama Inauguration 2013

It's DC time. President Obama gets sworn in again and I am definitely there to cheer him on. $1 million people were there this year to watch, celebrate and participate in his reelection of the free world. I was one of those people! Here are some clothing inspiration and personal pictures for the event. I can't wait to see what the next four years will bring for the country and fashion.
